5. SHOPIFY

Our online store is hosted by Shopify.

When you visit the Site, place an order or otherwise interact with our store, Shopify may collect and process personal data relating to you, including information about your device, interactions with our store, purchases and transactions.

Shopify may process personal data as our service provider or processor for certain activities and may also process personal data for its own purposes where applicable.

Shopify Network Intelligence is currently enabled for our store. This allows Shopify to securely use information from customer interactions with our store together with information from interactions with Shopify and other Shopify merchants to provide and improve certain enhanced services.

These services may include functions relating to:

• analytics
• fraud prevention
• product and store personalisation
• advertising
• measurement
• understanding customer interactions
• improving Shopify products and services

Information relating to your activity on our store may therefore be shared with Shopify and other service providers, including providers located in countries other than your own, in order to provide these services.

No other Shopify merchant is given direct access to RAVEBOUND customer data through Shopify Network Intelligence.

You can learn more about how Shopify processes consumer personal data in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy:

https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers

You can also use Shopify’s Privacy Portal to learn more about your privacy choices and, where applicable, exercise rights relating to Shopify’s processing of personal data:

We share personal data only where reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, where you direct us to do so, or where required by law.

Payment providers

Payment information and transaction information may be shared with the payment provider associated with the payment method you select.

Shipping and delivery providers

We may provide information such as your name, delivery address, phone number, email address and shipment information to postal services, couriers and logistics providers where necessary to deliver your order.

For products produced or fulfilled by third-party production or print-on-demand partners, information necessary to produce and deliver your order may be provided to the relevant fulfillment provider.

Marketing, advertising and analytics providers

We use services that may include Google & YouTube, Meta/Facebook/Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, Klaviyo and other analytics, attribution or advertising tools.

Depending on your location, consent preferences and the service involved, these providers may receive information about your device, Site activity, purchases and interactions with advertisements.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent us from sending non-marketing communications that are necessary to administer an order, account, transaction or customer service request.

9. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on or associated with your browser or device.

We may use:

Essential cookies

These cookies are necessary for the Site to function and may support functions such as:

• shopping cart operation
• checkout

Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies and similar technologies are used only after the required consent has been obtained.

You may accept, reject or manage non-essential cookies through the consent or privacy controls provided on the Site where available.

You may also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking certain cookies may affect the operation or functionality of parts of the Site.

Some technologies are controlled by third parties and are also subject to those third parties’ privacy practices.

10. DATA SHARING, TARGETED ADVERTISING AND U.S. PRIVACY CHOICES

RAVEBOUND does not sell personal data to third parties in exchange for money.

However, certain uses of advertising technologies or disclosures to advertising partners may be legally defined as a “sale”, “sharing” of personal information or “targeted advertising” under certain U.S. state privacy laws.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of these activities.

Where applicable, you can submit an opt-out request through our data sharing opt-out page:

https://rave-bound.com/pages/data-sale-opt-out

You may also contact us at support@rave-bound.com.

Depending on your jurisdiction, additional privacy rights may apply, including rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal data and to appeal certain decisions concerning privacy requests.

11. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

RAVEBOUND is established in Greece and uses service providers that operate internationally.

Personal data may therefore be processed or accessed in countries outside Greece or outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”), including by Shopify and other technology, payment, advertising, fulfillment or service providers.

Privacy and data protection laws in these countries may differ from those in your country.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer of personal data, appropriate mechanisms may be used, such as:

• European Commission adequacy decisions
• Standard Contractual Clauses
• other legally recognised transfer mechanisms

Shopify provides additional information regarding its international data processing and transfer practices in its Consumer Privacy Policy.

12. DATA RETENTION

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and as required or permitted by applicable law.

The appropriate retention period depends on the type of data and the reason it is processed.

• customer service communications may be retained for as long as necessary to resolve the matter and maintain appropriate business records
• marketing information may be retained while you remain subscribed or until it is no longer necessary, subject to applicable legal requirements
• business application information may be retained for as long as necessary to assess or administer the relevant business relationship
• records may be retained for longer where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims

When personal data is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymise it, subject to legal and technical limitations.

13. SECURITY

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or misuse.

We also rely on established service providers to maintain appropriate security measures for the systems and information they process.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

You have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.

Right to withdraw consent

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.

Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.

Our service providers may use automated systems for activities such as fraud detection, security, advertising or personalisation.

Right to complain
